"Kate Finley was Principal at RHS late '30s, early '40s. My dad had dropped out of high school but came back after being out several years. Pop visited Principal Finley on her last hospital stay. She made Daddy promise her that he would graduate from RHS. She passed and Pop earned his diploma. He told me he could not let Ms. Finley down even though she was not around to see him walk across the stage with diploma in hand."

OK everybody - it is Kate Finley Auditorium, at the time of the photo in 1984, it was located beside Rockingham Junior High previously Rockingham High. Now of course the new junior high is beside it.
